Community Food Pantry

The Open Link’s Community Food Pantry is designed to provide food to local families who do not currently have the financial means to meet their nutritional needs. There are two types of assistance through the food pantry: emergency food provided through community food donations and the government food program. Eligibility varies by program.

In addition to food, our pantry is able to provide local families in need with other basic necessities such as infant formula, diapers, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and paper products (when available). Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Vouchers are also available at The Open Link to seniors who meet the income guidelines (while supplies last).

Approximately 182 food orders are distributed each month to local families in need. Income-eligible families are able to access the food pantry once a month; exceptions can be made based on a family’s need and current situation.

Food Pantry Hours

How to Schedule Food Pick-Up

  • Step 1: Beginning July 1 of each year, families requesting food must meet with a counselor to complete an initial intake.
  • Step 2: Following the initial visit, The Open Link requests that families call 24-hours in advance to set-up their next appointment for food pick-up. Families may access the pantry once a month.
  • Step 3: In case of emergency or if there is a change in circumstance, families should contact the office and speak to a counselor directly.
